My Weekly Explorations 👀
Coldplay Tickets
Last week, a friend of mine bought a Coldplay ticket for 45,000 rupees! It’s not that hard to believe, right?
When these tickets first came out, they were only a few thousand rupees. But now, they’re being sold for crazy amounts, and people are actually paying!
It’s clear there’s a huge demand for Coldplay tickets, and resellers are making good money off it.
This got me thinking about how big the ticket resale market is becoming, especially in India. There are some platforms for reselling tickets, but trust issues still make people wary.
Around the world, the resale market is growing fast and could be worth billions in the next few years.
It’s funny how just a few weeks ago, people were scrambling to get tickets. Now, they’re being sold for lakhs!
So, what do you think about ticket reselling? Do you think it's fair or just another way to cash in on the hype?
Faking it can hurt your career
Last week, I came across a LinkedIn post that could ruin people's careers. The writer shared how they once followed the 'fake it till you make it' approach in their career.
This meant smiling through uncertainty, nodding along in meetings even when you had no idea what was going on, and acting like everything was figured out. And that’s how you become an imposter.
I couldn’t help but think that so many people start their careers this way. Sure, pretending to know it all may make you appear more confident. But after spending years in the game, real confidence comes from being honest.
It's about asking questions when you need help, admitting what you don’t know, and always being open to learning.
So, if you're still figuring things out, here’s my advice: Don’t fake it. Build it. Focus on growth.
Your Friend Laziness by L.E. Craft📚
Last week, I read Your Friend Laziness by L.E. Craft, and it has to be on your TBR too!
Instead of seeing laziness as the enemy, Craft shows how it can be your secret weapon for success.
Unlike most of the self-help books, it teaches you to live in those lazy moments and use them to recharge and think creatively, rather than feel guilty about them.
What I loved most is how Craft redefines laziness by making it a tool for balance and smarter work.
It helps you to overcome the struggle of feeling overwhelmed or stuck in procrastination. This book is really going to help you break the monotonous cycle and find a more sustainable way to succeed.
So, if you ever feel stuck, this book will help you find the balance you need. It’s a refreshing approach to productivity, and definitely worth reading!
That’s it for this week 🤍
I hope these thoughts and insights resonate with you as much as they did with me. Life’s a journey, and it’s the little moments and reflections that make it meaningful. Keep exploring, stay curious, and most importantly, keep being you.
