Becoming Irreplaceable
I know someone who worked at one of India's biggest companies. Almost 10 years of loyalty, gone with one email last week.
He’s a brilliant data analyst, the kind who stayed back to mentor juniors and saved lakhs through quiet contributions. He didn’t just work there, he belonged there.
But he forgot one thing: companies don’t keep people, they keep costs. A new AI tool decided his job could now be “optimised.”
Here’s the hard truth I’ve been repeating to myself and others: the world doesn’t reward loyalty. It rewards leverage. If you're quietly building for someone else, you may also be quietly disposable.
Whether you're an employee, founder, or freelancer, stop expecting fairness. Work isn’t a family. It’s a marketplace. And you're not exploited, you’re priced.
So build leverage. Build equity. Save more than you spend. Create a portfolio that grows while you sleep. And build a life that no algorithm can replace out of existence. That’s real freedom!
Low Effort, High ROI
I used to chase complex routines, productivity hacks, and endless self-help content until I realised that just four simple habits made the biggest difference.
Here’s what I stuck with:
Mind: I spend 10 minutes journaling or in silence every morning. It’s my reset button as it helps me think clearly, even on chaotic days.
Body: I walk for 30-mins everyday. It’s nothing fancy, just consistent minimum efforts. And my energy levels and sleep have improved in just a few days.
Finances: A few years ago, my manager advised me to-invest 20% of my income into index funds. Now, I don’t even feel it go, because it stacks up. Because compounding quietly works while I sleep.
Relationships: Having honest conversations with my wife and parents every weekend has brought more warmth in my life. It keeps me grounded.
Believe me, each of these takes just 30 minutes. But when done consistently over a year? Total life shift. So don’t be afraid to start small. One habit per pillar. That’s it!
You, rewritten
“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are”- Carl Jung
Read this quote while scrolling Instagram a few days ago and it reminded me that growth isn’t about becoming someone new, but returning to yourself.
Because in a world full of noise and comparisons, the real win is unlearning layers and living in alignment with your core. Loved this!
Many lives, Many Masters Dr. Brian Weiss 📚
I read Many Lives, Many Masters last week when my mind was cluttered with overthinking. And amidst that, the book felt like a gentle pause, like someone whispering, “There’s more to life than you see.”
So it’s the story of a psychiatrist and his patient who accidentally uncover past lives during therapy. But more than the past lives, what stayed with me was the peace in its core theme: we’re here to grow, love, and eventually let go.
Have to admit that some parts felt too stretched, especially if you’re a skeptic. But if you read it not as fact, but as a reflection, it hits differently. It reminded me to slow down and be less reactive.
A soul-level book worth reading if you’re feeling uncertain or just need a moment of quiet clarity!
That’s it for this week 🤍
I hope these thoughts and insights resonate with you as much as they did with me. Life’s a journey, and it’s the little moments and reflections that make it meaningful. Keep exploring, stay curious, and most importantly, keep being you.
